Wetherby's
origins are as a staging post through the centuries for travellers between
London and Edinburgh. Now it has developed into a busy market town, but
still retains its Thursday Market, granted by Royal Charter in 1240.
|
Wetherby
is a traditional Yorkshire Market Town, where small specialist shops still
can be found, interspersed with small restaurants, cafes, and tearooms
which make it a pleasant place to stroll round all day. It's riverside
area is just right to relax in, it's fish and chips renowned.
