Gloucester, discovered in 1606 by Samuel de Champlain who named it "Le Beau Port", is America's oldest seaport. Situated at the center of Cape Ann, Gloucester has one of the finest harbors in Massachusetts and remains one of the busiest fishing ports on the Eastern seaboard.
The Antonio Gentile Memorial 
(Tony Gentile) bandstand is 
situated in Stage Fort Park, 
the historic site of Gloucester's 
first settlers in 1623.
